1619 was envisioned to enable women & men with melanin DNA in their veins to embrace their melanin, culture, and heritage in thought-provoking ways. 1619 is the cornerstone of a much larger movement. 1619 says to the others, you are complicit when you remain silent. Will you take action going forth to be a better person, will you take action to embody the struggles of our ancestors that were snatched from Africa and brought to the Americas.

Our products are meant to make statements, invite engaging conversations as well as speak to our sisters and brothers without making a sound. We are visual billboards for the entire world to envy.

1619 is the prime number of positive actions one should seek to achieve in their lifetime. 1619 tells the world and the naysayers that we are talented, gifted, caring, compassionate, diligent and steadfast in our desire to leave this planet in better shape than when we came.
